On the San Ysidro Port of Entry West Pedestrian Bridge project our role was to supply and install ATFP compliant curtainwall and glazing. The General Services Administration (GSA) new pedestrian processing facility is located on the west side of the existing U.S. San Ysidro Land Port of Entry in San Diego, California. Previously, all pedestrians were processed at the east side of the Port resulting in traffic and pedestrian congestion. This project will provide an additional border crossing at the west side of the port, adjacent to Virginia Avenue. The newly constructed building is located on GSA owned property, at the east side of Virginia Avenue adjacent to a future new transit center near the United States border with Mexico. The building will house U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and Border Patrol (BP).
